The teaching ministry of Pastor Jared Buchanan of Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church also encompasses his involvement as an adjunct professor for the Baptist University of Florida. Pastor Jared teaches locally at a B.U.F. extension site.
A Certificate in Biblical Studies and a Certificate in Pastoral Ministry is offered in Ocala. Classes will start the Fall Semester of 2024 on August 13th at the Marion Baptist Association Missionary Resource Center: 1520 NE 14th St, Ocala, FL 34470. EV 201 Personal Evangelism (3 hours) will be held on Tuesday nights from 6 - 9 p.m and BF 10 Old Testament Survey (3 hours) will be held on Thursday nights from 6 - 9 p.m.
These two tracks are designed for individuals looking to increase their biblical knowledge and wisdom, and/or pursue pastoral ministry.
